Day 1 - 7: Exercise Detox. A Power Cleanse for your Nervous System.
This phase is often touted as the secret sauce of VASIE Pilates. Most 20+ year VASIE Pilates clients do not know this process by name but come back for the various positive effects. The key to de-aging your joints, bone structure, and movement is to eliminate the bad habits you may have learned throughout your life or were born with. This phase is the equivalent of cleaning the kitchen before you cook, finding all your utensils, ingredients, etc. Without this phase, most of us strengthen dysfunctional patterns like using our neck, tightening our hip flexors, holding our breath, and not using our core. You will feel weird, different, and better immediately!
Day 8 - 15: Rewire your Reflexes and Muscles.
This phase is where you start to see the changes immediately. Now that the kitchen is clean and everything is in place, we can start firing up the correct muscles and reflexes. This phase is key to creating deep transformational change that can last for life. Think of it like riding a bike or something that becomes a habit and is ingrained. For example: when you move your arms, your deep core stabilizes your spine. When you move, your spine gets longer, not shorter! You get to keep anything you learn well in this phase long after the 21 days.
Day 16 - 21: Strengthen & Tone.
This phase is more physically challenging but...way more fun and less mentally strenuous. It may feel like your workouts become a reward or a treat!
